AKOTEC awarded

As part of the INQA process "Shaping Work Together", the company AKOTEC Solarthermie, based in Angermünde, was recognized for its future-oriented corporate culture.

As part of the INQA process “Designing Work Together,” the Angermünde-based company AKOTEC Solarthermie was awarded for its “future-oriented corporate culture.” The Initiative for New Quality of Work (INQA) supports companies in developing a contemporary work culture. At the beginning of the process, potential for development was identified through an employee survey.

An external process facilitator then assisted the company in developing shared individual measures. The key INQA action areas were leadership, diversity, health, and competence. Over the past two years, AKOTEC focused on increasing the visibility of the company, improving product presentation, and enhancing internal knowledge transfer.

Workgroups developed measures to further digitize the company, promote employee satisfaction, and implement the expansion of the production hall. Internal training and development, as well as team-building activities, also contributed to making the company future-proof.

Employees from all areas were invited to help develop AKOTEC further. Many good ideas were gathered, discussed, and implemented. Especially with regard to current challenges, AKOTEC now feels well-positioned and looks forward to the future with optimism.

AKOTEC received the award on behalf of Managing Director Katrin Sprenger in Berlin from State Secretary Leonie Gebers (BMAS).
