Solar thermal – But what does that really mean? The term “solar thermal” describes the method to use the sun as a free energy source. The sun's energy is being transformed into heat and used for heat support or to create warm water. With that, resources like oil, gas and coal can be saved and the environment protected. We work in the field of solar thermal for many years now and with our unique solar plants we want to protect the environment as well as make our customers independent from the big energy suppliers. Besides the environmental factor, the possibility to reduce costs through our solar plants, whether you are a private or commercial customer, is an important advantage. Whether it is summer or winter, you can do something good for yourself and the planet at the same time: with our solar plants.
The sun shines down on us 12 hours a day. Our collectors are installed on your building in a way, that the sun's heat can shine directly on them. Thus, the collectors can gather in all the sun's energy. The collectors contain a heat transfer fluid. This fluid is getting warmer throughout the day. The systems passes the fluid to the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger takes the heat
from the fluid and hands it to the water in the storage tank. The now warm water can be used to shower, for bathing or for the dishwasher as well as the washing machine, but for the
heating too. If no one is home, or simply no warm water is needed, the storage tank holts in the heat, ready for the next use. This way, a solar plant can be used during cold and
cloudy days, when the sun doesn’t shine that often.

The AKOTEC full vacuum tube collector is in many ways different from the regular ones on the market. Our products are self-developed and not imported from foreign countries, like China.
They are 100% made in Germany. We stand behind our products and want to create systems, which can demonstrably help the environment and our customers.
We offer options for
private and commercial customers. Whether you need a solution for your home or your own company, we will always find a possibility to use the suns energy. We offer high-quality
products, which are easy to install and uncomplicated in the aftermath.

The solar thermal is an underrated heat source. Many households take the power of the sun as a natural source of energy. In combination with a gas or oil heating system, the solar plant can lead to decreasing heating costs and save the environment at the same time. You can safe up to 30 – 50% of the energy with a solar system. At your expense for warm water and heat,
that means: You spend up to 30 – 50% less money for gas or oil. With this saving potential and the increasing costs for energy together, you get the investment money for the solar
plant worth after only a couple of years! But not only the financial incentives speak in favor of the purchase of a solar plant, also the ecological reasons outweigh. The more energy
you safe, the more CO² emissions you reduce. You help your wallet and the environment at the same time!

For a solar plant, some requirements must be met. If you want to use the power of the sun, then you should have an open area facing south. Deviations in the direction, e.g. with a west-south or south-east facing, can be corrected with our rotatable tubes inside the collectors. It’s not absolutely needed to install them on the roof.
We have solar plant solutions for a balcony or even the ground to give the collector as much sunlight as possible. Depending on some conditions, you can cover the complete warm water
needs in your home and heat it in the meantime. A heating coverage of 100% is possible as well. For that, the solar system will be equipped with the fitting storage tank and the
building itself needs a high insulation value. The size of the solar plant depends on the number of people using it as well as the living area. Furthermore, it has to be specified
what the solar system has to cover. Because systems, used for water heating for domestic use, can be planned a little smaller than systems for industrial solar heating purposes. To
save even more energy, you can connect the dish washer and washing machine with the warm water pipe.

A solar plant has many important components. The most obvious are the collectors. Type, installation placement and dimensioning have a big impact on the output’s quality. When it comes to the decision for the solar plant, the collectors are very important, because they are the main element of
a solar system. The collector collects the sunlight and transforms it into heat. Thereby, the fluid inside the collector will be heated and the pipe system transports it to the
storage tank. From here on, the heat will be used to make warm water or support the heating system. When it comes to the planning, control technology, storage tank and piping it is
important as well. What you need exactly and in which extent, can be found out through our easy-planner or with the help of our team!

How solar plants help the environment: A full vacuum collector consists of many single tubes, which have a vacuum. Inside the tubes is the absorber, which absorbs the sun’s energy. The vacuum keeps the heat inside the tubes. There are two kinds of tube collectors: You can choose between the systems
Heat Pipe and Direct Flow. Which full vacuum tube collector is more suitable for your building, depends on different factors and requirements. Both options can be used to heat water
and to support the heating system. With using the sun’s energy, the CO² emissions can be reduced, which helps the climate protection and saves the environment. We only have one
planet, help to save it!
We are happy to help you find the perfect solar plant for you.
