The future of the renewable energies technologies forsees a holistic care with warmth, cold as well as electricity. At this juncture it is important to create a conzept for every type of house, whether it is a single-family house, big office houses or warehouses, and to combine the perfect technologies. Because of that reason, AKOTEC is permanently involved in research projects that pursue a long-term, sustainable and holistic approach.
The topic of solar cooling is currently becoming increasingly more important. Temperatures are rising all over Europe and there is a need for
alternative technologies in contrast to the high-power air conditioning systems that are currently widely used. In the Zeosol project, we are pursuing this approach together with
other partners, who have many years of experience.

In the SWSHeating project and the topic of permanent storage of thermal energy, we are continuing to pursue a very complex and thus complicated
topic. The previous way of storaging in, for example, water tanks is sometimes very expensive and complex when it comes to large amounts of energy. Our goal is to break new ground
with a well-known technology.

The SolBioRev project pursues the goal to design the energy supply of multi-family and office buildings as self-sufficient as possible alongside with
a large number of partners and specialists from all over Europe. This means that as little energy as possible has to be supplied from the outside and, through a clever concept, the
energies in the system are converted and used wherever they are needed.

In a purely German project, we tackle another question that is very important for everyone: pricing. In order to make the heat supply with solar thermal
suitable for the masses, it has to be cheaper. On the one hand, this is possible with the development of new products, but also through the optimization of the system itself, which is
currently being implemented in the HP-Sys project together with ISF-Hameln and the project management company Jülich.
